Daniel J. Seehafer

Administrative Pastor

Daniel J. Seehafer was born in Merrill, Wisconsin. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Concordia University Wisconsin in 1993, and his Master of Divinity Degree from Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, Indiana in 1997. As part of Concordia’s global education program, he had the opportunity to travel and visit the Holy Land. He also studied in Tallinn, Estonia. His two years of field work were at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Decatur, Indiana. He served his vicarage year at St. John Lutheran Church in Plymouth, Wisconsin. Daniel started as Assistant Pastor of St. Stephen Lutheran Church, Horicon, Wisconsin, in August 1997. On October 22, 2000, Pastor Seehafer was installed as the Administrative Pastor.

Mark C. Wilkens

Interim Associate Pastor

Mark C. Wilkens received a B.A. in Theology from Valparaiso University in 1990.  In 1994 he received a Master of Divinity degree from Concordia Seminary.  He was ordained at Calvary Lutheran Church in Parma, Ohio on June 5, 1994.  In June 1994, he was installed as Pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church in Pontiac, Illinois.  He served there until May 1998.  In June 1998, he was installed as Assistant Pastor of Concordia Lutheran Church in Independence, Ohio.  He served there until October 2001.  On November 4, 2001, he was installed as the sixth pastor of Bethany Lutheran Church in Kohler, Wisconsin.  He served there until 2006.  In April of 2011, he completed training as an Intentional Interim Minister through the Interim Ministry Network.  He has served at numerous churches since.  Pastor Wilkens is serving as the Interim Associate Pastor at St. Stephen until September 2024 while Pastor Seehafer is on sabbatical.
